CELEBRATED ARTISTS TO PERFORM “A VIENESSE VIOLIN RECITAL” JAN, 7, 2025 AT THE CHURCH OF THE HOLY TRINITY, 381 MAIN ST. MIDDLETOWN AT 7 PM
Maestro Adrian Sylveen, Founding Artistic Director of the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, & Friends will perform “A Viennese Recital” featuring Michael Korman, piano; Brunilda Myftaraj, violin; Allison Lindsay, mezzo-soprano and Zack Sears, cello will perform selections from Johann Strauss including "The Emperor Waltz," "Tales from the Vienna Woods" and "The Blue Danube Waltz." Other included composers' selections are by Fritz Kreisler, George Bizet, Camille Saint-Saens and Nikolaj Hansen highlighted by arias from Giacomo Puccini: "O Mio Babbino Caro" from the opera "Gianni Schicchi" and "Habanera" from Bizet's "Carmen."
